What Happened to The Great American Brewery

Monday, July 14th, 2008 @ 1:49 pm | MISC

Sunday night, Anheuser-Busch agreed to sell itself to the Belgian brewer InBev for around 52 Billion. You should not be surprised at this because this deal has been long overdue. InBev has been pressing the Anheuser-Busch clan for a couple months and they finally were able to finish the deal. The deal creates the world’s largest brewer at $70 a share. This is exciting news because it teams up beers like Budweiser and Stella Artois but it also makes Anheuser-Busch lose that great feeling when you crack open a frosty cold one and smell America. But then again, beer is beer.
